The woman behind the plan

My Story
It takes one to know one. I started working at age 15, and with my first wages I marched straight to the pharmacy to buy "slimming balloons" — a ridiculous gimmick promising to reduce appetite and encourage weight loss. I wasn't fat. I was insecure. So began 30 years of obsessive yo-yo dieting, self-loathing, and what can only be described as disordered eating. I tried them all — Slim Fast, Weight Watchers, 5:2, South Beach, Atkins, detoxes… the list goes on.
Finally in my forties, after having three children and blaming the chocolate consumption on "the kids," I knew I needed professional advice. I went to doctors and nutritionists, but I didn't get the answers I needed. So I began a mission to educate myself about the complex world of nutrition and the way my body responded — because it seemed I was the only one eating less, moving more and achieving nothing. I needed to understand metabolism, why mine was "slow," and what I could do to help myself.
What a game changer when you take the power into your own hands and stop asking other people, "What is wrong with me?" Who knew it had little to do with the diet. What I learned goes beyond food and dieting. I went on a deep dive inside the body to understand how it responds to food — and to stress, emotions and toxicity. There is no particular diet that works for everyone. Everyone is different. Food is only one dynamic. The body keeps the score.
My passion for health and happiness has now become my purpose. Let me save you from wasting your time, money and energy on diets, and educate you about nourishment to meet your individual needs. It will save you a fortune, change your life, and give you what you've always wanted — self-regulation.
My Philosophy
What guides everything I do.
It's a Journey, Not a Race
Results happen with consistency over time. If it took years to get out of balance, you have to give your body the same time to reset and heal. There is no quick-fix or magic wand — just small, steady steps.
Food is Medicine
"Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food." Targeted nutrition gives the body the tools it needs to bring balance and energy back to you. The body is designed to heal itself, given the right environment.
Mind & Body Are One
Hormones drive the way we feel — and therefore the way we behave. The body keeps the score, and physical symptoms are deeply linked to our emotional overlay. Long-term healing means working on both.
